Valis (ヴァリス, Varisu) is a platform game series developed by Telenet Japan. The original game was developed in 1986 for the MSX, and its popularity has spanned four sequels, a spin-off, and remakes across several platforms. A manga series was released in 2008 by Kill Time Communications and featured in the seinen manga magazine Comic Valkyrie.
Plot[]
The Valis games tell the story of Yuko Asou, a Japanese student of the late 1980s that is bound to protect three different kingdoms - our own land, the land of the Spirits, and Vecanti, the world of dreams, by using a mystical sword called Valis.
