Transformers (トランスフォーマー, Toransufōmā) is a toy franchise and multimedia metaseries created by American toy company Hasbro and Japanese toy company Takara (now TakaraTomy). Over the years, the metaseries has received fiction in the form of animation, manga, comics, live-action cinema, video games and one radio drama to promote the various toylines. Out of all 24 animated works, 6 were produced entirely in North America, 4 were produced by North American staff with animation provided by Japanese studios and 14 were entirely Japanese produced. 7 from the latter have never received an official English dub.

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Scramble City
An OVA from Toei that concluded second 2 of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers as The Transformers: The Movie (also animated by Toei) was not released until 1989 in Japan.
Transformers: The Headmasters
In North America, season 3 of the The Transformers was followed by season 4 which only consisted of a 3 part piloted animated by Korean studio AKOM. The corresponding Japanese version, Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers 2010, instead received 35-episode sequel from Toei called Transformers: The Headmasters.
Transformers: Super-God Masterforce
A direct sequel to Transformers: The Headmasters. This series had a more human-focused Sentai-like story.
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Victory
A direct sequel to Transformers: Super-God Masterforce.
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Zone
