My First Girlfriend is a Gal (はじめてのギャル, Hajimete no Gyaru), also known as Hajimete no Gal, is a manga series by Meguru Ueno. It has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Ace since November 2015, and has been collected in four tankōbon volumes. A 10-episode anime television series adaptation by NAZ began airing on July 2017.
Plot
The "season of love" has arrived and it seems that finding himself a girlfriend was harder than Junichi believed. To break the status quo, Junichi's friends have forced him into confessing to a classmate named Yukana Yame. The confession surprisingly works and the couple goes out. However, things do not go quite as he anticipated. Junichi finds himself in uncharted waters with Yame, a trendy and fashion-conscious "gal."
