Mushibugyo (ムシブギョー, Mushibugyō) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroshi Fukuda. A second series, Jōjū Senjin!! Mushibugyō, a retelling of the original series, started in 2011. An anime television series adaptation premiered on April 8, 2013.

Mushibugyo is set in Edo-era Tokyo in the early 1700s when the eighth shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune has ordered boxes to be installed so commoners can submit their thoughts. After hearing their opinions, the shogun creates a new magistrate unit called Mushibugyo to protect the people in the heart of the city. Each member of the unit happens to be a specialist with unique fighting skills.
