Skilled Teaser Takagi-san

Skilled Teaser Takagi-san (からかい上手の高木さん, Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san; lit. "Takagi-san of Teasing Skill"), or Teasing Master Takagi-san, is a Japanese manga series by Sōichirō Yamamoto. The manga has had 17 tankōbon volumes published through January 2022. A sequel manga entitled Karakai Jozu no (Moto) Takagi-san which takes place 10 years after the original manga started serializing on July 2017.

An anime adaptation by Shin-Ei Animation premiered on January 8, 2018 and ran for 12 episodes to March 26, 2018. A second anime season with Shin-Ei Animation continuing as main studio was officially announced in the February 2019 issue of Monthly Shōnen Sunday, premiered on July 7, 2019, and ran for 12 episodes to September 22, 2019. A third season also by Shin-Ei Animation was confirmed on September 1, 2021 on the official anime site, premiered on January 8, 2022, and is expected to run for 12 episodes to March 26, 2022. A movie was announced at the same time as Season 3 was confirmed and is expected to premiere in Summer 2022.

Plot[]

"If you blush, you lose." Living by this principle, the middle schooler Nishikata gets constantly made fun of by his seat neighbor Takagi-san. With his pride shattered to pieces, he vows to turn the tables and get back at her someday. And so, he attempts to tease her day after day, only to find himself victim to Takagi-san's ridicule again sooner than later. Will he be able to make Takagi-san blush from embarrassment even once in the end?
