Dog & Scissors (犬とハサミは使いよう, Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyō; lit. "Dog and Use Scissors"), also known Inuhasa (犬ハサ), is a Japanese light novel by Shunsuke Sarai and illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima that was published under Enterbrain's Famitsu Bunko imprint. The light novel was released from February 28, 2011 to January 30, 2015 and resulted in 14 volumes. A partial manga adaptation was illustrated by Kamon Ōniwa and serialized in Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine from July 2012 to May 2014 and resulted in 4 tankōbon volumes. It was adapted to an anime television series produced by Studio Gokumi and directed by Yukio Takahashi. It began airing on July 9, 2013.

Plot[]

This absurd mystery comedy centers around Kazuhito Harumi, a high school boy who is obsessed with reading books. One day, he is killed in the middle of a robbery and resurrected as a dachshund dog. In his new form, the helpless Kazuhito now belongs to Kirihime Natsuno, a sadistic novelist who uses scissors to abuse him.
