Hanebado! (はねバド!, lit. The Badminton Play of Ayano Hanesaki!) is a Japanese sports manga series by Kōsuke Hamada. It has been serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine good! Afternoon since 2013 and has been collected in eleven tankōbon volumes. An anime adaptation by LIDENFILMS started airing on July 2, 2018.[1]

PlotEdit

Kentarou Tachibana, the badminton coach of Kitakomachi High School's badminton team, gets worried because the team has so few members that it cannot even enter competitions. But then, he spots a student named Ayano Hanesaki easily climbing a large tree on the school grounds, expertly demonstrating excellent motor skills. Tachibana tries to get Ayano to join the badminton team, but finds out that Ayano hates badminton.
