Bloody Monday (ブラッディ・マンデイ) is a manga written by Ryou Ryuumon and illustrated by Kouji Megumi. The series had been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine by Kodansha from April 2007 to May 2009, with individual chapters collected into eleven tankōbon volume as of May 15, 2009. The manga has also been adapted into a drama series, which aired on October 11, 2008, starring Haruma Miura. The second season of the manga began in Weekly Shōnen Magazine number 46 released on October 14, 2009, and the second season of the drama adaption began airing on January 23, 2010. Kodansha's USA division released the first volume in June 2011.

Plot[]

A virus deal clinched in Russia on the Christmas eve. Purpose: unknown. Two clues: a mysterious lady "Maya," who is one of the gangsters, and "Bloody Monday," the keyword for the project.

Then an incident happened in far-distant city of Tokyo. Fujimaru Takagi, a second-year student at Mishiro Gakuin high school, is commissioned to find out the truth by the Public Security Intelligence Agency, for his great ability as a super hacker. Now, Maya approaches Fujimaru as his high school teacher.
