Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion (アンゴルモア 元寇合戦記, Angorumoa: Genkō Kassen-ki) is a Japanese historical manga series written and illustrated by Nanahiko Takagi serialized from February 26, 2013 to August 22, 2018 in Kadokawa Shoten's Samurai Ace in 2013 and then online at ComicWalker from 2014 to 2018. It resulted in 10 tankōbon volumes from Kadokawa Comics Ace imprint. An anime television series adaptation by NAZ premiered on July 11, 2018 and ran for 12 episodes to September 26, 2018. A novelization titled Angolmois: Another Record of Mongol Invasion (アンゴルモア 異本元寇合戦記, Angolmois: Ihon Genkō Gassen-ki) written by Akaganedai and illustrated by Nanahiko Takagi was published as 2 volumes on June 15, 2018 and October 15, 2018 on Kadokawa's Novel 0 imprint.

A sequel manga series Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion Hakata Edition (アンゴルモア 元寇合戦記 博多編, Angolmois: Genbai Senki Hakata) began serializing in ComicWalker on January 2, 2019 resulting in 8 tankōbon volumes as of August 25, 2023 also published by the Kadokawa Comics Ace imprint.

Plot[]

The story follows a group of prisoners who are exiled to Tsushima Island to help form a first line of defense against the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274. They first join the Sō clan who then join with the Toi Barai clan to fight the invaders consisting mainly of Mongolian and Goryeo forces, but also including Jurchen people.
